GPNi reserves the right to review and adjust prices without prior notice. Any funds paid by a student for training, including deposits and all other fees, are non-transferable to any other person or entity.

The following payment options are available for course fees:

  • Payment in full
  • GPNi payment plan provided by Stripe
  • Students who choose the payment plan option are to ensure they have sufficient cleared funds in their nominated account.
  • Students on an agreed payment plan who require alterations to the original payment arrangements must do so in writing. Payment alterations incur a USD$50.00 service fee.

You may apply in writing for deferral from your studies. Deferrals are usually only given for medical reasons. Recommencement at a later date will be accepted upon confirmation of a new enrolment application. Please note that upon recommencement, you will be required to meet the training package requirements that are current at the time of your return to study. This may mean a change to the units of competency that you study (if they have changed in the training package during the period of deferral) and possible additional costs.

Contact GPNi for more information on info@gpni.fit

Eligible withdrawals, that is a written notification of withdrawal received at least 7 days prior to course commencement, for students enrolled in a certification course, will receive a full refund of course fees paid minus a withdrawal fee of 25% of the course fee. If hard-copy materials were sent, there will be no refund given on these materials.

This withdrawal fee will be withheld to cover trainer and/or administration costs. This fee is payable in all circumstances including payment plan options when the 25% has not yet been collected, and fees will still be deducted until the withdrawal fee has been paid. No refunds will apply to withdrawals made less than 7 days prior to course commencement, where a course has commenced, or where resources have been provided and the student will be liable for all payments as per their enrolment and contract.

In cases where a student is suffering from a medical condition and seeks to defer their enrolment for a specified period of time, they must put their request in writing and provide adequate supporting documentation. Upon application, the student’s enrolment may be deferred for a period no greater than 6 months. No refund of course fees will apply, and the student will be liable for all payments due under an agreed payment plan (if applicable).

The GPNi reserves the right to vary fees, curriculum, assessments, and dates without notice and liability.

Should the GPNi be unable to provide all units to meet the student’s course schedule, the following will apply:

Otherwise known as Continued Education Credits (CEC) or Continued Education Units (CEU), continued education and ongoing education are as crucial as certification. Whether you are a personal trainer teaching physical exercise or a sports nutritionist, being on top of the most up-to-date research is vital. Labeling yourself a professional is paramount in both the safety of your clients and an ethical responsibility.

Continuing Education Credits (CECs) are the units used to measure continuing education. CECs are allocated according to the quality and duration of an education program or event. Those that include an assessment of knowledge and skills gained will have higher CECs. A list of approved CEC courses, seminars, and other activities is listed below in the CEC table.

Much like Medical Doctors, Pharmacists, or any primary profession, you need to ensure you have not forgotten the knowledge you have learned; also, you have been up to date with the latest research, trends, and science. Best practice, modern science, and duty of care are paramount for all professionals when dealing with your client’s health and fitness.

Sadly, most fitness certification companies globally take very little care, focus, and responsibility for their CEC programs. Those in the fitness certification industry know that it’s a staggeringly low 2-5% of certified trainers are updated with their CEC’s.

At the Global Performance Nutrition Institute (GPNi®) we take this far more seriously than other international certification programs. The CEC program to the GPNi® is as important as the certification itself. The trainers who do not keep up with their CEC’s will be labeled “Unqualified” and “Inactive” on their profile.

Clients being trained by qualified GPNi® and ISSN-certified trainers can rest assured that they are amongst the most professional, together with access to the most up-to-date nutrition knowledge.

As a global leader in the fitness nutrition space, the Global Performance Nutrition Institute (GPNi®) is committed to industry standards and ongoing professional development. Continuing education helps advance your career by improving your existing skills or developing new ones.

Your continued professional development involves completing 10 Continuing Education Credits (CECs) every two years to maintain your registration.
